Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Senku, operated by SJ Tech Solutions LLC (“Senku,” “we,” “us,” “our”) at senkulab.com. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the platform.

Accounts

You must be at least 18 and authorized to bind your business. You are responsible for everything that happens under your login. Use a strong password; enable any 2FA we offer. Notify us at security@senkulab.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the platform, or remain inactive for an extended period (we’ll notify you before deleting data).

Subscriptions and Billing

Senku offers free and paid tiers. Paid tiers (Starter, Pro, Business) auto-renew monthly via Stripe at the rate shown at signup. You can cancel anytime in Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds for unused time are at our discretion except where required by law.

Tier-gated features available to you depend on your current plan. If you downgrade, you may lose access to data that exceeds the lower tier’s limits (e.g., older estimates beyond a retention cap). We’ll notify you before such limits take effect.

Tenant-Customer Charges

Senku lets you charge your own customers through your own Stripe account (the “tenant Stripe” flow). We are not a party to those transactions. You are responsible for the accuracy of the estimate, the legitimacy of the charge, refunds, chargebacks, and any sales tax owed. Stripe’s processing fees and Stripe’s own terms apply to those payments.

Senku does not hold or move your customers’ funds. Funds flow directly into your Stripe account.

Estimates Are Not Binding Contracts

Estimates created in Senku are quoted prices, not binding offers, until you and your customer explicitly agree (typically by digital signature in the customer portal). Final scope, price, and timing depend on the agreement you make outside the platform. Senku is a tool to draft and communicate estimates — it does not form contracts on your behalf.

AI-Generated Content

When you use the AI estimate feature, Senku sends your prompt and relevant context to a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic or xAI) and returns the generated content. AI output is a draft — review it before sending. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose, and we’re not liable for losses arising from AI errors. AI providers may log prompts under their own terms; see their policies for retention.

Your AI usage is subject to weekly limits by tier. Excessive automated invocation may be throttled or blocked.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Senku for illegal activity, fraud, or misrepresentation.
• Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or content that violates TCPA or CAN-SPAM.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or row-level security.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract bulk data from Senku.
• Upload malware, illegal content, or anything you don’t have rights to.
• Impersonate other Senku users, your customers, or third parties.
• Use Senku to compete by creating a substantially similar product.

Your Data

You own the data you upload — customer information, estimates, photos, line-item catalogs. You grant Senku a non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that data solely to operate the platform for you. Export anytime in CSV or PDF. We do not sell or share your data with marketers. Our Intellectual Property

Senku, the brand, design, code, and documentation are owned by SJ Tech Solutions LLC. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform under these Terms. No reverse-engineering, redistribution, or rebranding.

Disclaimers

Senku is provided “as is.” We don’t warrant uninterrupted service, bug-free operation, or that AI outputs will be accurate. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Senku’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.

This limitation doesn’t apply where prohibited by law (e.g., gross negligence or willful misconduct).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Senku for claims, damages, and costs arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with your customers (including disputes over estimates, work performed, or payments).

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Atlantic County, NJ, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you a different forum. We both waive jury trial to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app banner. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. The current version always lives at this URL.
