DOES SENKU INCLUDE A CUSTOMER-FACING PORTAL?
Yes. Every estimate generates a tokenized customer portal at /view/[token] — no login required for the customer. They can view the estimate, ask questions, accept and sign, and pay. The portal stays accessible until you revoke the share token.
CAN I SEND ESTIMATES BY SMS?
Yes. Business-tier accounts can send the estimate share link as an SMS via Twilio. The customer taps the link and lands directly in the portal. SMS replies route back into the lead conversation thread.
HOW DOES STRIPE INTEGRATION WORK?
You connect your own Stripe account in Settings. Senku encrypts your secret key at rest and uses it to create customer-facing checkout sessions tied to each estimate. Funds flow directly into your Stripe account — Senku never holds your money. Card fees (2.9% + $0.30) are passed to the customer by default.
WHAT DOES THE AI LINE-ITEM GENERATOR ACTUALLY DO?
You describe the job in a sentence — "two-room interior repaint with patching, ceiling spray, and trim" — and the AI drafts a complete set of line items with quantities, units, and prices anchored to your material costs and labor rates. You review and edit before sending. Pro tier includes 5 AI estimates per week; Business is unlimited.
CAN I TRACK TIME AND LABOR THROUGH SENKU?
Yes. The kiosk at /clock/[slug] lets crew members clock in and out without a Senku account — they enter a PIN. GPS coordinates are captured at clock-in/out for verification. Hours roll up to the Timesheet view, with hourly-rate snapshots so future rate changes don't rewrite paid history.
DOES THE CUSTOMER PORTAL REQUIRE MY CUSTOMER TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT?
No. The portal works entirely off a share token in the URL. Your customer never signs up, never logs in, never gets a marketing email from Senku. The same link gives them estimate viewing, signature, payment, change orders, and progress updates.
HOW DOES THE LEAD-CAPTURE QUIZ WORK?
Each tenant gets a custom quiz funnel at /quiz/[slug] you can embed on your website or share as a direct link. Visitors answer a few questions about their project, and the resulting lead lands in your dashboard with the conversation history, AI-parsed scope, and a Convert-to-estimate button.
IS THERE MOBILE-APP SUPPORT?
Senku runs as a Progressive Web App — add to home screen on iOS or Android for an app-like experience. The dashboard, customer portal, worker kiosk, and quiz funnel all work offline-friendly on mobile browsers. No App Store install required.
